And his eyes, the abyss, gaze back into me
My last yearns for death,
as hell inevitably looms over me
With the last glimmer of light, he fades away
The bronze piece under my tongue
Awaits the path of my eternal sentence
And once again, before my Lord I fall

where Time does not rule over demons
My sentence will be eternal
The Obolus in my hands,
The payment guides me to Charon
Who patiently waits on the bank of the Styx
My descent, omitted by the first six circles
In the seventh, punished for my sin
Thus turning me into a decayed tree
My bones breaking into branches
My skin drying into bark
The cry of my agony claims the harpies
Lying on my gnarled limbs
She warns me, but terror clouds my thoughts
And digs her claws deep into my dry bark
Feeding the suffering of those of us who stand here
